Dear Burns Refuse Customers,

First and foremost, we would like to take this time to thank all of you who are recycling, what a GREAT JOB you have been doing so far. We just wanted to remind everyone, what is acceptable in the 2023 curbside recycling and what is not.  Recycling must be in 32 gallon cans with recycling stickers on them.

WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE

1. Glass bottles & jars
2. Plastic containers in pourable form ONLY twist tops #1-7 (CRV Only)
3. Tin and steel cans
4. Aluminum cans
5. Aluminum & clean tin foil (Clean)
6. Cardboard (NO wet cardboard/reycling, no waxed or solid pizza boxes)
7. Food boxes (cereal boxes, shoe boxes, and egg cartons)
8. Magazines, newspapers, office paper, and junk mail

WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

1. No garbage
2. No plastic bags
3. No medical waste
4. No styrofoam
5. Nothing in plastic tubs, microwave, or yogurt form
6. No salad, sandwich, or deli-style containers.
