Rules and Requirements

Please bag trash in cans, no loose trash!

Residential Service & Commercial Cans

One 30-32 gallon can up to 50 lbs.

Please bag trash in can, no loose trash.

Curbside – can(s) placed within 5 feet of the curb or shoulder of the road, in view of the truck.

Yard – can(s) placed within 100 feet of the road way, in view of the truck (approved home only)

Additional cans may be added to regular service for an additional cost.

Extra Can Pick-up

Customers must request additional can pick-up by 12:00 P.M. the business day prior to pick up.

Each additional can, up to 32 gallons will be charged $10.12 (curbside), $11.79 (yard) for residential. Commercial cans will be charged $12.23 (curbside) and $14.42 (yard).

No extra trash will be picked up without prior arrangements being made.

BE ADVISED

Paint your initals, street number, or unit/lot on ALL cans.

Cans in excess of 50 lbs will NOT be picked up and incur additional charges if picked up. No exceptions.

Cans must be leakproof with tight-fitting lids and handles. We are not responsible for broken cans, lids, handles or wheels. 

Cans must be ready by 6:00 A.M. on day of pick up.

Cans for recycling must have a Recycling Sticker.  Recycling must be in a can without plastic bags (NO EXCEPTIONS). WE DO NOT PICK UP WET REYCLING/CARDBOARD.

Billing Information

We bill after the 15th of each month and payment is due in full by 15th of the next month or there will be a late fee of $6.48 for residential and $12.93 for commercial accounts.

It is the responsibility of the customer to call the office ahead when moving, going on vacation, or for changes in their service level.

Holiday and Service Interruption 

No pick up on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Holiday service will be picked up the following service day. We pick up on Thanksgiving day. Snow days will be picked up as soon as roads are clear and safe.

No Hazardous Waste in Trash Can(s)

lt's illegal to dispose of hazardous materials in the trash. Items such as paint, motor oil, oil filter, antifreeze, all batteries, fluorescent bulbs, electronic devices, household cleaners, dead animals, pesticides, and solvents, may not be put in the trash. For disposal of these hazardous waste, please contact Tuolumne County Solid Waste (209)533-5588 or Waste Management (209)532-1413

ALL POLICIES MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO:

New Customers: We do require that all new customers pay for two months of service, in advance, at the time they sign up for service.

Tuolumne County Waste Ordinance states that all cans will be 30-32 gallon cans. 45-65 gallon cans or larger cannot be used. If the 50 LB weight exceeds, the can(s) will not be picked up.

Company policy: If service is stopped or suspended, there will be a $16.44 restoral fee.

Payments: We only accept check, cash, or money orders for payments at the office.

Discontinuing service: it is the customers’ sole responsibility to notify the office if they are discontinuing service. You will be charged for service until you notify the office.
